Bungie has extended The Iron Banner event. It is scheduled go live again at 2pm PDT and 7pm PDT today, Sunday July 20.

Today, at 5pm EST, Guardians playing Destiny beta will be able to partake in ‘The Iron Banner’ event. Two maps will be added to the beta, with the event being the only way players can access them.
The Rusted Lands will make a return from the alpha, and we will be “taken to Mars for the first time ever with Blind Watch.” Those who give it their best in The Iron Banner matches will have a chance to earn limited time rewards such as assault rifles. Bungie has warned that players will be “tested unlike anywhere else in the beta.”
The event will last for two hours and Guardians will receive a message when it goes live.
In other news, Sony has apparently been sending out free Destiny beta codes via email to those who haven’t pre-ordered the game. Quite a few of my friends have received them, and it appears that a lot of users on the internet have, too. So if you haven’t got a code yet, check your email to see if you got lucky yet or not!
