Earlier this year, franchise creator Ken Levine announced that Irrational Games is winding down and handing the BioShock franchise over to parent company, 2K Games.
Now, over on Twitter, the 2K UK Twitter account just teased an image connected to the franchise with the caption, “Oooo, what COULD this mean?!” The image referenced is a poster for the first BioShock’s “Eve Garden,” which was an exotic dancing venue in Rapture’s Fort Frolic.

Does this mean a new entry in the franchise is on the way or is this a hint that a now-gen port of the original BioShock is on the way? To date, 2K has yet to respond to inquiries regarding what this tweet means, but we’ll keep you posted when and if something substantial happens.
