Those who have been enjoying Destiny so far and those who joined in on the fun a bit late may be happy to note that the beta might not end this weekend after all. Previously, an end date of July 27 was reported, but according to the latest Bungie Weekly Update, this isn’t set in stone.
User Fatalist Prophet asked Bungie when the beta was actually going to end, to which Community Manager David ‘Deej’ Dague responded by saying:
The Destiny Beta ends when we say it ends. For days now, press releases have circulated that foretold of the end on July 27th. The Wolf, our Theoretical Physicist, has told me that he wants some room to maneuver close to the conclusion of our little social experiment. So, I’m not telling you exactly when. Please play until we nail this thing shut.
If I’m reading this right, July 27 might be too soon to end the beta so we can expect an extension.
