Japanese Sales Chart: PS4 Drops Below 6,000, Loses to Regular 3DS

Nothing can stop Yokai Watch 2, as the 3DS title added another 181,000 units to its total last week, easily besting the new release of Yoshi’s New Island, which placed second overall. 

After Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines starts off all PlayStation games in 4th, Tokyo New World Record on PS Vita debuts to 15,000 sales, with Corpse Party: Blood Drive on PS Vita right behind with over 13,000 sold, while Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late on PS3 moved 9,000 copies in its first week.

Looking at hardware, the Vita dropped by over 5,000, while the 3DS XL and PS3 saw minor changes, and the Wii U rose by over 1,200 units. As for the PlayStation 4, things weren’t very good, as it dropped nearly a thousand units and placed behind the regular Nintendo 3DS.
