Here’s some good news for our European readers. SEGA has announced that it will be bringing Persona 4 Arena Ultimax for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 to Europe this November. The game will get a digital as well as a retail release.
European fans of the franchise were a little disappointed when Atlus announced a North American release date in August, but couldn’t confirm whether the game would be coming to Europe or not. Atlus PR Manager John Hardin previously said that his company was fighting for the game to be region-free and that Atlus did not have anything set up with European distributors at the time. SEGA’s Jurgen Post said:
We’re delighted to be able to bring Persona 4 Arena Ultimax to Europe for all the fans of the series over here. It represents a great new addition to Sega’s portfolio of tournament calibre fighting games.
Hopefully, we’ll have enough funds to buy all these new games coming out in November!
