The team behind Octodad: Dadliest Catch, that goofy game where you play as an octopus disguised as a human being, has just released some interesting Octodad sales figures.
The sales figures, which can be seen below, include the total number of games that have been sold as well as the gross revenue that they have brought. The graphs include sales across PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, and Linux.
If looking at the PS4 data alone, then it can be found that some 149,873 units have been sold on the system, bringing in a revenue of about $1,921,954. Those numbers are pretty good, especially considering the Metacritic score of the PS4 game was only 69 out of 100. The figures also include the number of hours that employees worked on the game, which total a whopping 28, 208 hours.
Looking at the number for yourself, what sticks out for you? Are you surprised by anything?
