Quiplash is a New Party Game Set for Release on PS4 & PS3 in Early Summer 2015

Developed by Jackbox Games, the developers behind You Don’t Know Jack, Fibbage, and Drawful, Quiplash is a new party game set for release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and PC early this Summer, pending a successful Kickstarter campaign to raise $15,000.

In Quiplash, “up to eight players compete against one another to improvise clever responses to open-ended questions like ‘An alternate use for a banana’ or ‘Something you’d be surprised to see a donkey do’ before turning to a group vote to determine the best and/or funniest answers.”

Only one person needs to own the game, while everyone else can use their mobile phone, table, or internet-connected device as a controller. Furthermore, spectators who aren’t playing can vote for their favorite one-liners and impact the game’s outcome, “making it perfect for engaging audiences through Twitch.”

Unfortunately, it looks like Quiplash will only come to North America on consoles.

If you’re interested in securing a copy of Quiplash, you can pledge $10 on their Kickstarter page.
