Following the successful retail release of the game on PlayStation 4, VBlank Entertainment announced today that Retro City Rampage DX is now getting a physical release on PlayStation Vita.
Region-free, priced at $30 USD, and available for order right now (expected to ship in 3-4 weeks), the physical version of Retro City Rampage DX on PS Vita includes a case, new front and back cover art, retail-exclusive gold-themed PS Vita Live Area art, and the full game filling 19.8MB of the official 2GB PS Vita card it’s printed on.
If you already own the digital version of Retro City Rampage DX, the physical version can still be installed. Also, the physical version includes cross-save with the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita versions, but it doesn’t include cross-buy.
Where the PS4 version marked the first time an indie developer self-funded and self-published a retail release on the system, the PS Vita version is the first (and currently only) North American PS Vita game to be unrated by the ESRB.
Will you be buying Retro City Rampage DX?
