Announced during PlayStation Experience for a PlayStation Vita release in May 2015, Sony confirmed today that Disney Infinity 2.0 is coming to the PS Vita tomorrow, May 9, exclusively at GameStop.
Priced at $59.99, the PS Vita Starter Pack includes the game, the Disney Infinity Wireless Base which connects via Bluetooth, a Marvel’s Spider-Man Play Set Piece, both Marvel Super Heroes Toy Box Game Discs, a Web Code Card, a USB Recharging Cable, and an all-new and exclusive Black Suit Spider-Man figure.
If you own the console version of Disney Infinity 2.0, the Black Suit Spider-Man figure is fully compatible.
Disney Infinity Executive Producer John Vignocchi took the time to thank Panic Button Games for their work on the Vita version. He added, “Also, special shout-out to Adam Boyes and the Third Party team at SCEA for encouraging us to get Disney Infinity (2.0 Edition) onto PS Vita. It is pretty wild to play the full experience on that beautiful, small screen!”
Earlier this week, Disney Infinity 3.0 was announced for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, but there was no mention of a PS Vita version.
