Nippon Ichi is joining the parade of re-releasing old software on the PS4 with The Witch and the Hundred Knight Revival, a director’s cut of a lesser-known PS3 RPG. More interestingly, the company has revealed that a sequel is in the works, presumably also for PS4.
Today, the company has released a two-minute trailer for the re-release, which you can see below. The end of this video is when Nippon Ichi reveals sequel plans.
The video begins by telling us that the game has been powered up for PS4, and that the graphics have become “beautiful.”
At the end, it adds, “A sequel has been decided!” and tells players to look for the first bits of info in limited quantities, published alongside Revival.
The Witch and the Hundred Knight Revival is set to come out September 25 in Japan, with international releases not yet announced.
