Set for release in 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr is a “persistent sandbox action-RPG” from NeocoreGames (The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing) in collaboration with Games Workshop.
While they were light on details today, NeocoreGames told IGN that the single-player campaign will put you into a “grim and secret war among the stars as the agents of the ever-vigilant Inquisition.” Once you finish the campaign, the story will continue and offer “years of constant entertainment, gradual development, and a continuous flow of content that enriches the action-RPG gameplay.”
Producer Zoltán Pozsonyi says they chose the world of Warhammer 40,000 because “it’s intense, brutal, visceral – a perfect material for an action RPG.”
More details about Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr should be coming soon, with Neocore saying, “Here’s the official Twitter for our new game: @40k_Inquisitor. Follow and get all the info in the coming weeks!”
