While LEGO Jurassic World was once again at the top of the UK retail chart, sources revealed to MCV that The Chinese Room’s Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture was actually the #1 selling game last week.
GfK Chart-Track doesn’t track digital sales, but according to those sources, Rapture “comfortably” outsold LEGO when factoring in the PlayStation 4 title’s digital debut.
Digital games outselling the #1 retail game each week isn’t something new in the UK, with Cities: Skylines outselling Grand Theft Auto V in March, and the PC version of GTA V on April 20 outselling Mortal Kombat X.
The Chinese Room was only able to give a brief response to the good news:
We’re on holiday but had to retweet that last bit of amazing info! We’ll respond to all your beautiful tweets on our return. Thank you all

We’ll have a better idea of how well Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture did when the August 2015 PlayStation Store charts are revealed in early September.
Have you played Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture yet?
