PES 16 was just released, and while FIFA 16 isn’t coming out until next week, Konami believes that PES will be able to catch up with EA’s FIFA in the coming years.
Product Manager Adam Bhatti explained that he believes the gap between the two games is being closed, and in a “couple of years” PES will “clearly lead again.”
We’re definitely catching up with FIFA, and we have to be respectful about that. We have to keep closing that gap. In a couple of years we’ll clearly lead again. But we have to convince a lot of people.
There are things we can’t control like licences, but in terms of presentation, visuals, we want to be industry leading.
