Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will be released in only a few short hours, meaning that by tomorrow you could be playing in the game’s secret World War 1 area. Look out, spoilers below.
Discovered by Eurogamer, the World War 1 section is a full, playable area, complete with its own playable character. That character is Lydia Frye, the descendant of Jacob and Evie Frye, the title’s two protagonists. In the World War 1 area, players are able to take on missions for Winston Churchill, who brings Lydia into the British Secret Service. The gameplay video below shows off what the special section is like. It should be noted that the area can only be unlocked after getting through a good amount of the main game first.
