Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey, the co-founders of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare developer Sledgehammer Games, went on Twitter recently to discuss their next title, which is likely to be a new Call of Duty in 2017.
According to Schofield, Sledgehammer Games listened and he is “f*%#=ing stoked” about their next Call of Duty:
We’re designing a new game so in design mode I do art. That’s how I think. Probably weird but it’s my way of concentrating.

Can’t talk about the game but we listened and I am so f*%#=ing stoked about this one.

Condrey, meanwhile, replied to someone on Twitter who mentioned Advanced Warfare, saying he is equally excited for what’s next:
@EmiSoto_L thanks Jose. I’m proud of what we did as a team, and with fans, on AW . I’m equally excited about what we are doing next 🙂

When someone asked for him to fast forward to the next Sledgehammer Call of Duty game, he replied, “All in due time. The journey is the reward.”
As for Advanced Warfare, Condrey addressed a complaint that new guns are hard to get and too expensive. “We’ve listened to fans, and cool weapons are the most desired new loot. I’m loving these 3. Re: pricing, that’s a publisher call,” he said.
Do you think we’ll get Advanced Warfare 2 in 2017?
