Kicking off the new year with a bang, Harmonix will be releasing Amplitude for the PlayStation 4 on January 5, 2016 in North America and Europe, priced at $19.99. If you paid $40 or more to back the game on Kickstarter, it will be available on December 23.
Complete with a single-player campaign campaign, competitive and co-operative local multiplayer modes, and leaderboards, Harmonix says the campaign is “presented in the form of a sci-fi concept album with a narrative that surfaces through the game’s visuals, music, and lyrics.”

Although it wasn’t mentioned, the PlayStation 3 version of Amplitude is expected to release later in 2016.
Amplitude will be playable at PlayStation Experience this weekend, and players will receive an exclusive dynamic theme.
