Mortal Kombat XL Releases on March 1 for PS4 & Xbox One, Includes All DLC Fighters & Skin Packs

Calling it the “definitive experience of the award-winning hit,” Warner Bros and NetherRealm Studios announced today that Mortal Kombat XL is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 1 in North America and March 4 in Europe.

Along with the main game, Mortal Kombat XL also includes DLC from the Kombat Pack 1 and upcoming Kombat Pack 2:

Kombat Pack 1

  • Playable characters Predator, Jason Voorhees, Tremor and Tanya, with each accompanied by three themed skins
  • Samurai Skin Pack

Kombat Pack 2

  • Brand new playable characters the Xenomorph from Alien, Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre horror film series, Triborg and Bo’Rai Cho
  • Never released Apocalypse Skin Pack
  • Previously released content including playable Goro, Brazil Skin Pack, Kold War Skin Pack and Kold War Scorpion Skin

“Feedback for the MKX Enhanced Online Beta has been positive,” Creative Director Ed Boon said, “but please continue to share your experiences so we can make it even better!”

As Warner Bros notes, Mortal Kombat X is the best-selling game in franchise history.
