Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios are on the verge of launching Mortal Kombat XL across current-gen consoles, and today brings word that the definitive version will arrive with improved online gameplay.
Creative Director Ed Boon took to Twitter to confirm that, buoyed by the success of the beta, MK XL will launch with enhanced online from day one.

Arriving alongside XL is the title’s Kombat Pack 2, bundling together the iconic Xenomorph from Alien, Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies, Triborg, and Bo’Rai Cho.
Mortal Kombat XL bundles together all of the brawler’s DLC — Kombat Pack 2 included — when it hits PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 1.
