Welcome to the Trophy Guide for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End on PlayStation LifeStyle! There are 56 Trophies to collect in Naughty Dog’s final entry to the Uncharted series. Just like the previous games in the series, this is a very obtainable Platinum Trophy. It’s going to require multiple play-throughs, including a speed run. Any Trophies that you may miss on your first play-through of the game can be acquired via chapter or encounter select. There are also a lot of collectibles to pick up, 193 to be exact. The majority of your time will be spent going after those as the miscellaneous Trophies can all be obtained fairly quickly. There are also a few multiplayer Trophies, but these are very simple and will not be an issue as you work toward the Plat.
Unlike the previous Uncharted games, the cheat like bonuses that you unlock do not lock out Trophies. Trophies can be earned while using the bonuses. The bonuses are unlocked by completing the game once and then you can purchase (with game money, not real money) individual game modifiers or weapons.
Spoiler Warning: There are spoilers within this guide. If you’re trying to avoid spoilers, it is recommended that you complete the game before reading any further.
One Last Time – Platinum

Charted! – Crushing – Silver
– Complete the game in Crushing mode.
Crushing is the hardest difficulty in the game and can be quite the challenge. Enemies are harder to kill, they have stronger weapons earlier, you can’t take much damage, you can’t mark enemies and you can’t use the auto aim feature. Make sure to stay in cover when fighting enemies and pick your shots carefully. It is also possible to stealth your way through sections. You can either bypass enemy encounters or take them out quietly without getting into a fight.
Of course, this can be made so much easier by using any of the bonuses unlocked after completing the game once. Bullet Speed, Infinite Ammo and any weapon you want can all be used and will make this difficulty a breeze.
One more thing, all of the difficulty related Trophies stack. You don’t have to beat the game on every difficulty. Whatever remaining difficulty related Trophies you have left will all pop when you beat Crushing.
Charted! – Speedrun – Silver
– Complete the game in six hours or less.
You can keep track of your time in the statistics page of the pause menu. I’d recommend not doing this until you’re comfortable with the game. It’ll really help knowing how to solve the puzzles quickly, where to go during enemy encounters and how to move through chapters when exploring with Sam or Elena. You’ll also need to skip every cutscene that can be skipped as these add to the timer. Pausing the game will stop the timer, so don’t worry about that. Playing on the lower difficulties and using any of the bonuses will also greatly help.
First Treasure – Bronze
– Find a treasure.
See the Trophy “Treasure Master” for more details.
Treasure Hunter – Bronze
– Find 50 treasures.
See the Trophy “Treasure Master” for more details.
Treasure Master – Silver
– Find all treasures.
There are 193 collectibles in Uncharted 4. After you’ve completed the game, you can collect any of the collectibles that you’ve missed via chapter select, or in another play-through. As soon as a collectible is picked up, it’s automatically saved. Your progress can also be tracked in the pause menu or a total break down can be found in the chapter select menu. The video below has all 193 collectibles in the order in which they are found. Credit for the videos goes to YouTube user PowerPyx.

Head of the Class! – Bronze
– Defeat 20 enemies with headshots.
See the Trophy “You Have a Head for this Business” for more details.
You Have a Head for this Business – Bronze
– Defeat 50 enemies with headshots.
This Trophy will come over time as you play through the game. Just be sure to always aim for the head.
Hangman’s Bullet – Bronze
– Perform 20 headshots from the rope.
There will be a few areas in the game in which you’ll be swinging on a rope and then attacked by enemies. All you need to do is get headshots while still swinging with the rope. There is a good area to farm this during Chapter 15. A wave of enemies will attack you while you’re hanging from a rope and you can rack up the headshots here. This can be farmed by restarting the checkpoint.
After completing the game, you’ll unlock special bonuses. Bullet Speed is a bonus that slows down time when aiming which will make this very simple.
Stealth First Ask Questions Later – Bronze
– Stealth take-down five enemies.
See the Trophy “Shh Sleep Now” for more details.
Shh Sleep Now – Bronze
– Stealth take-down 30 enemies.
Stealth take-down opportunities will be quite frequent in this game. All you need to do is come up behind an enemy and press Square to perform a stealth take-down. Pulling unaware enemies off of ledges and dropping down onto unsuspecting enemies will also count toward this Trophy.
I Thought I Heard Something – Bronze
– Perform 30 vertical stealth takedowns.
A vertical stealth takedown is jumping on an enemy from above to knock them out. There aren’t many opportunities to do this for 30, so, when you come across an area to do it, it’s recommended that you farm the kills by restarting the checkpoint.
Run-and-Gunner – Bronze
– Defeat 50 enemies from-the-hip or blind-firing.
All you have to do here is kill enemies without aiming with L2. Just hold down R2 to blind fire. You can run around blind firing or you can stay behind cover and blind fire. Either way will work. The shotguns are good weapons to use for this Trophy.
Leapfrog – Bronze
– Defeat 10 enemies in a row, alternating gunplay and hand-to-hand.
All you need to do here is maintain the pattern. You need to kill an enemy with a gun first and then kill the next with melee and then repeat that pattern until the Trophy pops.
Unstoppable! – Silver
– Defeat 100 enemies in a row without dying in combat.
All you have to do here is kill enemies and not die. Although the Trophy points out dying in combat, you actually can’t die at all. It’s a little misleading, but just be careful when climbing and shimmying around. Playing on Explorer difficulty will really make this easier.
Sharpshooter – Bronze
– Complete the game with 70% or higher shot accuracy.
This Trophy may sound difficult, but there are ways to make it incredibly easy. Play on the light difficulty so that enemies take less shots to kill and use side arm single shot weapons for better control during encounters. There is also a new setting to the Uncharted series called Lock on Aim. This automatically snaps your sights to enemies when you aim a weapon. Finally, after beating the game once, you can unlock and use a bonus called Bullet Speed. This will slow down time when aiming.
You can check what your accuracy is as you’re playing by checking your statistics in the pause menu.
Rushing Roulette – Bronze
– Defeat enemies with a pistol, machine gun and grenade, in that order in 15 seconds.
This Trophy can be earned anywhere as long as you have a pistol, machine gun, grenade and three enemies. The kills must also be in that order. I did this during Chapter 18 at the Avery’s House encounter. Use the Barok pistol as this is a one shot kill that will save you a couple seconds. Get the pistol kill, then the machine gun kill and finally throw or drop a grenade near enemy.
Ghost in the Cemetery – Silver
– Get through Scotland cemetery combat encounter without killing or being seen.
This is going to come toward the end of Chapter 8. The easiest way to get through this is to go left. The enemies are all grouped up on the right side. The enemy won’t “see” you until the diamond over their head turns orange. If it turns yellow, they’ll just investigate the area and then go back to patrol. You’ll still be okay for the Trophy if that happens. Refer to the video below for more details on getting through this.
Butterfingers – Bronze
– Make 10 enemies drop their grenades.
All you need to do for this one is shoot enemy as he’s about to throw a grenade at you. There’s really no way to time this, but if you see an enemy throwing a grenade at you, chances are, he’s going to throw more after you dodge the first. So be ready to shoot him when he pulls out another one. If you find a enemy to do this against, you can farm it by restarting the checkpoint.
Boom County – Bronze
– Defeat four enemies with the same explosion (all explosive items and weapons apply)
Any type of explosive weapon will work for this. Enemies in this game tend to spread out and don’t really group up next to each other. So, finding opportunities to pull this off will be scarce. Although, there is one area in Chapter 20 where four enemies will always jump down into an area that you are in. There is also an RPG in the same area. Grab the RPG and shoot the enemies as soon as they drop down.
Defeat 10 in 60 – China Lake GL – Bronze
– Defeat 10 enemies in 60 seconds with the China Lake Grenade Launcher.
This Trophy will be much easier to obtain after you’ve completed the game at least once. You’ll want to unlock the infinite ammo gameplay modifier and the China Lake GL from the weapon section of the bonuses menu. Now, go to an encounter with a lot of enemies and quickly get kills. Just keep killing enemies until the Trophy pops. I chose Chapter 10 at the area with the drawbridge. There will be multiple waves of enemies with more than the required 10 and you’ll also have a good vantage point to fire on the enemies from above.
Hang Tough! – Bronze
– Destroy 10 vehicles while being dragged from the rope.
This Trophy can be earned in Chapter 11 as you’re trying to rescue Sam during a car chase. You’ll eventually come to a point in the chase where you’re being dragged from behind a truck. This will happen twice during the mission, but you can also restart checkpoints to farm the 10 kills. Just shoot the vehicles until they explode.
Run the Table – Silver
– Defeat enemies with a stealth attack, melee attack, headshot and explosives in that order, in 15 seconds.
This Trophy can be a pain, but it’s not impossible. I was able to unlock it at the drawbridge section of Chapter 10. The Bullet Speed bonus and China Lake GL really came in handy on this one. Before you do anything look at the enemies and know where they are and plan out your course of attack. After the initial stealth kill, you can actually do another stealth kill and that will count as a melee. Be quick and restart the checkpoint if you fail.
Hitting a Brick Wall – Bronze
– Defeat five armored enemies with melee only.
Before you can damage armored enemies with melee, you have to first get their helmets off. There is a good place to farm this in Chapter 10. You’ll enter a half collapsed room and then be ambushed. Run up to the the fallen structure, jump off with X and then press Square while in the air to drop an attack on the armored enemy to knock the helmet off. Once the helmet is off, finish them with melee. There are two armored enemies here, so restart the checkpoint to farm five quick kills.
Peaceful Resolution – Silver
– After being marooned, leave everyone alive until the Treasury.
This Trophy actually spans across two chapters. It begins in Chapter 13 and ends at the end of Chapter 14. You just need to get to the start of Chapter 15 without killing anyone. There are only two enemy encounters that you’ll need to get through. The easiest way of getting through this is to stay hidden and stealthy. If you’re spotted, just run for the end of the enemy encounter area. Sam killing enemies will count against you, so if anyone is killed, restart the checkpoint and try again.
Wingman – Bronze
– Perform 10 combo buddy takedowns.
A buddy takedown is when you and one of your AI controlled buddies are both involved in taking out an enemy. You’ll know when one of these takes place as the game will go into a quick cutscene of you two knocking an enemy out together. To initiate a buddy takedown, just be near a buddy when throwing punches at an enemy. This will likely unlock over the course of the game. If you want to farm them, you can when they first become available in Chapter 2. Later in that chapter, Gustavo and his gang will start a fight with you. You can pull off a few buddy takedowns here and then restart the checkpoint. You can do this until you hit 10.
Cliffhanger – Bronze
– Pull 20 enemies over when hanging from a ledge.
All you need to do is hang from a ledge with an enemy just above you and press Square to grab and pull them down. It does not matter if the guard knows you’re there or not. Your first opportunity to do this will be in Chapter 7 as you’re trying to escape. You can restart the checkpoint to farm 20 of these kills during Chapter 7 if you like, but you’ll have plenty of opportunities throughout the game.
Ludonarrative Dissonance – Gold
– Defeat 1,000 enemies.
This is a Trophy that will come over time. There’s no need to even worry about this one. Just keep playing and this will pop as you’re going for everything else.
Don’t Feed the Animals – Bronze
– Play with the lemur in the market and let it steal your apple.
This Trophy is earned at the very beginning of Chapter 11. As you make your way into the market, you’ll come across two women selling apples. Buy an apple from them and continue towards Sully. Almost immiediately after the apple vendor, will be a man sitting with a lemur. Interact with the lemur and then start walking away and the lemur will come and steal your apple.
I Accidentally All the Guns – Bronze
– Use every weapon in the game.
There are 27 weapons in the game to use. A weapon will be counted as used by getting a kill with it. Be sure to always pick up and get at least a single kill with weapons throughout the different Chapters. You can also unlock weapons via the Bonuses menu after completing the game at least once.

Not a Cairn in the World – Bronze
– Knock over all rock cairns in Madagascar.
There are 16 rock cairns in Madagascar to knock over. All 16 are found in Chapter 10 and it’s important to knock them over in order of the video below. Once you leave some areas of Chapter 10, you won’t be able to go back, so it’s important to go in order. You can just bump into them with the jeep to knock them over. Credit for the video goes out to YouTube user PowerPyx.
I Can See My House From Here! – Bronze
– Climb to the very top of the Clock tower in the city.
This Trophy can be earned in Chapter 11 while you’re inside the clock tower. After you’ve rung the four bells in order, you’ll need to climb higher to ring one more bell to complete the puzzle. Climb up to the last bell, but instead of ringing it, keep climbing higher until you reach the very top of the tower.
Trials and Tribulations – Bronze
– Solve the first Trial in Scotland in 10 moves or less.
This Trophy is obtained in the beginning of Chapter 9. Before starting the puzzle, active the switch where the skeleton is laying up against a wall. Then, take the bucket and fill it up with water. Once the bucket is placed back, the puzzle will begin. Each of the crosses need to be in a certain position. Follow the video below to get the puzzle done in six steps. The crosses can be in different starting positions, if yours is, restart the encounter until it loads the starting pattern that matches the video below.
Best Score! – Bronze
– Beat the best score in the retro video game.
This Trophy is obtained during the epilogue. You need to collect as much fruit as possible, finish as quickly as possible and not die. If you die, just restart the checkpoint. The level doesn’t last very long and the score to beat is 3,500. You wont see your score until you reach the end of the level.
Gift of Gab – Silver
– Listen to all optional conversations in the game.
See the Trophy “Treasure Master” for more details.
Marco Polo Returns! – Bronze
– Play in the ocean near the sunken ship.
This Trophy can be earned in Chapter 12. From the start of the chapter, steer the boat to the left side of the islands ahead of you. Just behind the islands is a shipwreck that Sam will point out. Drive near the wreck and jump out of the boat and into the water. The Trophy will pop right after Nate yells “Marco!”
Stage Fright – Bronze
– Just prior to the City Chase, stand perfectly still for 30 seconds (stage demo fail)
This Trophy is earned in Chapter 11 after finishing the Founder’s puzzle and exiting the clock tower. As you exit through the doors, a cut scene will play showing Sully and Nate where Sam is. During this scene, just set the controller down and don’t move until the Trophy pops.
Just Floor it! – Bronze
– Drive away in the jeep with Elena without killing any enemies.
This Trophy is earned in Chapter 17. There will be two guards that spot you prior to getting to the Trophy location. You have to kill those two guards, that will not affect the Trophy. When you get to the area, use stealth to get to the jeep and jump in. If you’re spotted before getting to the jeep, Elena will shoot and kill the guards. Once you get to the jeep, the guards will spot you, but all you need to do is drive out of the area. Be careful not to run anyone over on your way out. If any of the guards are killed, restart the checkpoint.
On Porpoise – Bronze
– Get three dolphins to follow the boat.
This Trophy can be earned in Chapter 12. At the very beginning of the chapter, drive the boat past the islands and go behind them. The dolphins aren’t in a set place, they’re just behind the islands near the ship wreckage where the “Marco Polo Returns!” Trophy is earned. You have to drive the boat around behind the islands looking for them. They’ll be jumping out of the water and all you have to do is drive near them. Each time you get a dolphin to follow you, Sam will say something about them. Once he says there are three, the Trophy will pop.
Still Got It! – Bronze
– Hit all targets in the attic with the toy gun.
This Trophy can be earned at the very beginning of Chapter 4. As soon as you get control of Nate, go to the back of the room and pick up the toy gun that’s hanging in a holster. After you get it, just shoot the targets. There are only four of them.
Glamour Shot – Bronze
– Take a photo of Sully.
This Trophy is earned during Chapter 11. As you’re solving the Founder’s puzzle, Sully will give you his phone to take a picture of the puzzle. Before doing that, look up at Sully and point the camera at him. Take the picture when Sully says “cheese.”
Swordmaster – Silver
– Perfectly parry Rafe in the sword fight without getting slashed or stabbed.
This Trophy is earned during Chapter 22. You and Rafe will fight each other with swords and you need to counter his attacks. You have to press Triangle to block the attack coming from the left and Circle to block the attacks coming from the right. If Rafe grabs you, you have to keep tapping Triangle to get out of the hold unscathed. If you do get hit, restart the checkpoint. There are multiple checkpoints throughout the fight and playing on lower difficulties will shorten up Rafe’s combos.
Continue the Adventure – Bronze
– Complete the Uncharted Multiplayer Introduction.
When you enter the multiplayer section for the first time you’ll be forced to complete a tutorial on how everything works. Complete the tutorial and this Trophy will pop.
Get in the Game – Bronze
– Complete five matches in Multiplayer.
Just as it says, play in five multiplayer matches from start to finish. It does not matter whether you win or lose.
Trials by Fire – Bronze
– Complete all trials on Moderate (difficulty) in Multiplayer.
The trials are basically just a continuation of the opening multiplayer tutorial and there are 15 of them to complete. They are individual training missions for items. All you have to do is used the specified items in a match against bots until you hit the goal amount of money. The trials are quick and easy. Just make sure the difficulty is set to moderate.
Friends Forever! – Bronze
– Spawn 10 Sidekicks in Multiplayer.
First, you need to select a loadout that has a Sidekick, or create a custom loadout and select a Sidekick to use. Sidekicks are purchased in matches by pressing the Touch Pad and then selecting whichever one you want that you have equipped. Press whatever direction the Sidekick you want is and it’ll be spawned. These cost money, so you’ll need to be killing enemies or finding treasures throughout the maps to acquire money.
Medic! – Bronze
– Revive 10 Allies in Multiplayer.
When a teammate goes down, you can revive them by holding Triangle. This will come over time as you play the multiplayer. Any revives your medic sidekick gets will count toward this Trophy as well.
