Update:
The Warriors is now available in North America for $14.99.
Metal Slug Anthology is also available in North America, priced at $19.99, making it the highest-priced PS2 game on PS4.
Original Store:
Adding another Rockstar Games title to the list of PlayStation 2 games released for PlayStation 4, The Warriors is now available in Europe for £11.99. It should be available in North America later today for $14.99.
A 3.1GB download, The Warriors includes 13 Trophies, but no Platinum. The one Gold Trophy, King of Coney Island, asks you to reach 100% completion on any difficulty.
Here’s the description for The Warriors:
New York, 1979. A battle on the streets. The armies of the night number 60,000 strong, and tonight they’re all after The Warriors – a street gang wrongly accused of killing a rival gang leader. The Warriors must make their way from one end of New York to their turf on the other side of the city. All that stands between The Warriors and their survival are 20 miles and thousands of street gang members.
Since it’s a PS2 game on PS4, The Warriors includes “full 1080p up-rendering and enhanced features such as Trophies, Shareplay, Remote Play, Activity Feeds and Second Screen support for game manuals with PS Vita or PS App.” Sony also warns that there may be times when the game play differently from the PS2 version.
As for Metal Slug Anthology, it didn’t release today in Europe, but is expected later today in North America. It includes a Platinum Trophy.
