LEGO Dimensions is still going strong in the toys-to-life genre, and TT Games has announced quite a few new packs coming in November for the hit game at San Diego Comic Con.
Six new packs will be available upon Wave 7’s release on November 18, 2016, including a story expansion pack, a level pack, one team pack, and two fun packs. If you’re confused on the differences between a Team Pack and a Fun Pack, it’s more than just the price. The Fun Pack has one character and one new vehicle, whereas the Team Pack contains a combination of four characters and vehicles—usually two characters and two vehicles.
The following packs will be released on November 18:
- Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them™ Story Pack and Fun Pack – includes all new story expansion that replays the feature film, Newt Scamander minifigure, Niffler vehicle, Tina Goldstein minifigure, and Swooping Evil vehicle;
- Sonic The Hedgehog™ Level Pack – includes three levels based upon the Sonic universe (Green Hill, Emerald Coast, and Labyrinth), Sonic minifigure, and the Sonic Speedster vehicle;
- Gremlins™ Team Pack – includes Gizmo minifigure, Stripe minifigure, RC Racer vehicle, and the Flash ‘n’ Finish vehicle;
- E.T. ™ The Extra-Terrestrial Fun Pack – includes E.T. minifigure and his iconic phone home device; and
- The Adventure Time™ Fun Pack – includes Marceline the Vampire Queen minifigure and her Lunatic Amp.
All of the Wave 7 packs include golden Toy Tags that will unlock Battle Arenas in the Adventure World. In addition, the Wave 7 packs will all work with the original LEGO Dimensions game that released last year. Thus far, TT Games has not required a new version of LEGO Dimensions for these additional expansion packs.
