The PS4 and Xbox One are both pretty impressive consoles thus far, bringing both impressive graphics and some amazing titles. However, there is plenty of talk about the new upgraded consoles, which leaves fans with a decision to make: Is it worth the upgrade?
Well, in a recent interview with GamingBolt, Tadeusz Zielinski of Flying Wild Hog noted that their upcoming game, Shadow Warrior 2, is targeting 1080p resolution and 30fps (frames-per-second) on the current consoles, however, it will probably change when the PS4 Neo and Xbox Scorpio are released.
We are aiming for 30fps 1080p. Both consoles. It will probably change on Neo/Scorpio.
If this becomes a standard for current games, then perhaps the upgrade is worth it. There are a bunch of different studios that could use this to their advantage for example Bethesda. In addition to that, developers like Hajime Tabata from Final Fantasy XV are interested in the new consoles and the power that they could bring.
