Bandai Namco announced today that Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization will release on November 8 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in North America and Europe. In North America, it’ll be available physically and digitally on PS4, while the Vita version is digital-only. In Europe, it’ll be available physically and digitally on both platforms.
By pre-ordering Hollow Realization for PS4 in North America, you’ll receive an exclusive Costume Pack that include a a Maid Costume and Nightwear Costume for Asuna, as well as God Eater costumes. In Europe, pre-orders come with three exclusive costumes – a nightwear costume for female characters, as well as two costumes from God Eater, Soma’s costume for male characters and Livie’s costume for female characters – and an exclusive lithography signed by Sword Art Online creator Reki Kawahara. The lithography isn’t available with digital pre-orders.
There’s also a Collector’s Edition available in North America for $149.99 USD that includes Kirito and Asuna figurines, a steelbook case, the game, a Blu-Ray disc, mini-posters, decal sheets, and an art book. Pre-orders for the European Collector’s Edition, which includes the figurines, will go up soon.
Bandai Namco also discussed the Skill Tree System and Cosleeping:
Skill Tree System
During their trip in the virtual world of Sword Art Origin, players will be able to improve their fight skills thanks to the Skill Tree System. Numerous skills’ families will be available such as the Sword Skill or the Battle Skill. In each skills’ families, players will be able to learn different abilities to improve their way of fighting. Extra Skills, related to players ways of fighting (attack, heal, tank, etc.), will also be available and will permit players to be even more powerful. Players have to choose wisely because each skill can affect each battle!
Cosleeping Event
Players will be able to improve their relationships thanks to the Cosleeping Event and enjoy conversations with their partner lying down with her/him.
If you’re planning on picking up Hollow Realization for both PS4 and PS Vita, it includes cross-save.
