The fourth of five planned episodes, King’s Quest Chapter 4: Snow Place Like Home is releasing worldwide on September 27 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC, Sierra and The Odd Gentlemen announced today. Additionally, Creative Director Matt Korba said Chapter 5 and the bonus story epilogue will be released “before the holidays.”
Here’s what you can expect from Chapter 4:
King’s Quest – Chapter 4: Snow Place Like Home opens on the fateful night when King Graham and Queen Valanice’s infant child Alexander was stolen from them. When Alexander mysteriously returns home 18 years later, however, Graham must decide how to reconnect with the boy he’s spent a lifetime searching for. And as father and son work together to solve the towering challenges of the puzzling Ice Palace, questions linger about just what happened all those years ago.
A standalone price wasn’t announced for Chapter 4, but it will likely be $9.99 USD. You can also get it as part of the $24.99 Season Pass (includes all episodes) or $29.99 Complete Collection (includes all episodes plus the epilogue). If you haven’t started King’s Quest yet, Chapter 1 is available for free through the PlayStation Store on PS4 and PS3.
