Announced during EGX as part of Access PlayStation’s livestream, ThroughLine Games’ Forgotton Anne is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2017, with Square Enix Collective publishing.
A 2D cinematic adventure game that combines puzzle platforming with adventure game elements, Forgotton Anne stars Anne, the enforcer who keeps order in the Forgotten Realm, as she tries to stop a rebellion that might prevent her and her master, Bonku, from returning to the human world.
“Imagine a place where everything that is lost and forgotten goes; old toys, letters, single socks,” ThroughLine says of the game world. “The Forgotten Realm is a magical world inhabited by Forgotlings, creatures composed of mislaid objects longing to be remembered again.”
