Horror Game Don’t Knock Twice Coming to PS4 & PSVR in Q1 2017

Wales Interactive (Soul Axiom, Master Reboot) announced today that first-person horror game Don’t Knock Twice is releasing in Q1 2017. A virtual reality version will be available for PlayStation VR, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift, while a non-VR version will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Developed alongside the movie of the same name starring Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica), Don’t Knock Twice is based on an urban legend and sees a mother trying to save her estranged daughter:

Don’t Knock Twice is a first-person horror game based on a psychologically terrifying urban legend. To save her estranged daughter, a guilt-ridden mother must uncover the frightening truth behind the urban tale of a vengeful, demonic witch. One knock to wake her from her bed, twice to raise her from the dead.

Explore a grand manor house and interact with almost every object you see. To find and save your daughter, you will explore all depths of the manor, searching for hidden clues and using items to fight or escape the terror that surrounds you.

As the description adds, you’ll combine environment items to fight or escape the terror, the traditional manor environment is juxtaposed with modern technology to guide you, and there’s “atmospheric and high-quality 3D sound for an immersive horror experience.”

A demo is currently available on Steam for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
