With the new 2.86GB The Division update today on PlayStation 4, Ubisoft has added PS4 Pro support.
According to the system’s Update History, The Division’s UI renders at 4K on PS4 Pro, while the game itself will be bumped up to 1080p. Additionally, PS4 Pro owners will find that the graphics settings have been improved “to have better looking shadows and reflections.”
Along with a fix for the CE-34878-0 Error, today’s update also brought support for the Survival expansion, which is priced at $14.99 USD/£11.99 if you don’t have the Season Pass. It’s a 2.6GB download and carries this description:
Rumors of a cure begin to circulate as a monstrous snowstorm approaches NYC. Sent to recover the potential antidote, your chopper is brought down leaving you cold, hungry and stripped of gear, forcing you to find warmth and scavenge for materials. You must search for the cure in these unforgiving conditions, beware of other dangers and find a way to extract it from the chaos. Our survival depends on it.
New Gameplay and Features
Find shelter, fires and craft warm clothes to resist the cold as long as possible.
Look out for food and snack bars to restore your health. Water will also be a necessity as your agent becomes dehydrated, affecting vision.
Enable PvP or PvE modes in Survival with up to 24 other players.
Faster, and dangerously well prepared, the Hunter is a deadly new enemy who will always be one step ahead of you.
On Twitter, Ubisoft said, “PS4 players: If Survival shows as Offline, please make sure to go to the PS Store and download the Survival DLC to unlock it in-game.”
The third expansion for The Division, Last Stand, will be available in 2017, and it will launch simultaneously on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
