Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been awarded the Big Apple Award for Game of the Year at the 6th annual New York Game Awards. As the developer thanked critics for the nomination and win, the New York Video Game Critics Circle thanked “tens of thousands” of fans who tuned in to the show online alongside those in attendance. User-voted awards are far and few between all the critic awards but folks over at NeoGAF held an almost month-long voting process, in which thousands of users voted in favor of Uncharted 4 for GOTY, with DOOM coming in second and Overwatch being the third user-favorite game of last year.
