Aksys Games has announced that Zero Escape: The Nonary Games will be releasing for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in North America on March 24, both physically and digitally. The collection, which includes a 999 remaster (Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors) and Virtue’s Last Reward will also get a digital release in Europe for the PS4 on the same date, however, release date for the retail version has yet to be announced.
Aksys has told Gematsu that the PS Vita versions for Europe (both digital and physical) have been delayed until “later this year.”
Speaking to Siliconera, the publisher also revealed some more information about 999, which has been rebuilt from the ground up for the aforementioned platforms. Here’s the info provided by the website:
Wendee Lee will reprise her role as Clover, as will other voice actors from Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward that also voice certain people in Zero Escape: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors. There will be Adventure and Novel modes, with the former offering animated characters with different poses and the latter with text above characters like an eBook. It will include a built-in calculator with digital root function in the main menu and a flow chart. Also, it is possible to explore and investigate rooms during the escape portions with the touch screen or by using the left analog stick and action buttons.
The collection’s version of Virtue’s Last Reward will be identical to the original PS Vita version but with some script issues now fixed.
