Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 has suffered another delay and is now releasing on April 25 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, CI Games announced today. It was previously scheduled for April 4.
As CI Games explains, the extra three weeks will be used to “complete some final implementations based on feedback” received during the recent PC beta. CEO Marek Tymiński adds:
We’ve worked tirelessly creating a whole new Sniper Ghost Warrior experience set in an ambitiously crafted open world new to the series. While it’s an unfortunate decision to delay the game one last time, we believe these final changes will result in a better experience for players worldwide on day one. Thank you for your patience – we know the wait will be worth it.
By pre-ordering Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 on PS4 or PC, you’ll receive the Season Pass for free. Priced at $29.99 USD on its own, the Season Pass includes access to two major single-player expansions (The Escape of Lydia and The Sabotage), two multiplayer maps, an exclusive all-terrain vehicles, and two exclusive weapons (the McMillan TAC-338A Sniper Rifle and Compound Bow).
