The German ratings board has rated Resident Evil: Code Veronica for PlayStation 4, suggesting that Capcom will port the title to more systems in the future. However, the listing appears to have been removed, but not before a NeoGAF user saw it.
First released for Dreamcast, before getting ported to PlayStation 2 and GameCube as Resident Evil: Code Veronica X, it received an HD re-release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011.
If Code Veronica does come to PS4, it will join several other re-released/remade Resident Evil titles on the console, including Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0 Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, and Resident Evil 6. Additionally, Resident Evil Revelations is coming to PS4 this fall, and a Resident Evil 2 remake is in the works.
As for the most recent Resident Evil, Resident Evil 7, the first part in Capcom’s four-part Making Of series is now available for viewing (make sure you turn on closed captions):
According to the official stats page, RE7 has 1.78 million players, and 173,000 of them are VR users (stats are taken from players who enabled the in-game data transmission option only).
