Darksiders III has been one of the more surprising reveals of the year and the folks at IGN recently posted a community Q&A where developer Gunfire Games answered several questions from the community.
One of the questions asked was whether Darksiders III would be present at this year’s E3 and the studio confirmed that the game won’t be making an appearance at the event, although they did mention that another reveal is planned for release soon.
We will not be at E3…but Fury will be making another appearance soon.
The studio also answered a question about the possibility of a Darksiders IV and the studio said that “the gears are already turning on what the story would be,” which could mean we may see even more games from the Darksiders franchise in the future. Probably if Darksiders III becomes successful.
As for Darksiders III, its story is set somewhere around the same time as Darksiders II. The game is set for release sometime in 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and other platforms.
