Spotted by Reddit user Lannister1909, German retailer Spielegrotte has listed a God of War Collector’s Edition for PlayStation 4, pricing it at €199.99. They note that the price tag is subject to change and, since it’s a Monday, the January 15, 2018 release date they list is likely a placeholder.
Images aren’t available for the Collector’s Edition yet, but Spielegrotte says it includes a 9″ statue of Kratos and Atreus, a steelbook case, a cloth map, a pack containing three in-game shields, and more:
- BD game
- [9″] statue of Kratos & Atreus battling 2 Helmsters
- Two carved sons toys Figurines
- Steelbook case
- Exclusive lithograph print
- Cloth game world map
- Digital soundtrack
- Exclusive dynamic theme
- Shield pack containing 3 in-game shields
Sony hasn’t said if God of War will be at E3 next month, but if this Collector’s Edition leak is true, it looks like we’ll be hearing more about Sony Santa Monica’s title soon.
Addressing last year’s gameplay demo, God of War Director Cory Barlog said on Twitter recently, “Everything in the demo was real time, I did not have control in the start cinematic but it was pure game engine.”
Do you think we’ll get a God of War release date during Sony’s E3 press conference?
