Liked the Destiny 2 stuff shown during Sony’s E3 2017 press conference? Well, Activision isn’t done there. The Destiny 2 beta for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC has been dated!
Players who pre-order† the game will be able to participate in the console beta beginning first on the PlayStation 4 on July 18 at 10am PDT, and on Xbox One beginning on July 19 at 10am PDT. After that pre-order early access period, the beta will open up to all console players on July 21 at 10am PDT, and will conclude on July 23 at 9pm PDT. The PC beta is planned for late August, and we will have more details soon.
Yep, PS4 gamers get it a day early, and those who don’t want to pre-order can still get in at a later time.
That’s not all the Destiny 2 good news, though. Activision has also announced that Destiny 2’s release date has been moved up! Instead of September 8, the console versions will be out September 6! It’s just two days, but we’ll take it.
Also, if you’re at E3, you can get to play Destiny 2! Of course, prepare for long lines though.
At E3, inside the Los Angeles Convention Center, Bungie and Activision will provide a variety of hands-on experiences for attendees with the all-new story campaign as well as competitive, and cooperative multiplayer gameplay, debuting a brand-new subclass, the Arcstrider Hunter whose “super” ability is to summon an Arc-empowered staff to be used for close-quarters melee combat. Attendees are invited to play a vast array of gameplay activities for Destiny 2on PS4 Proat the Activision booth #1001 in the South Hall, and PlayStation’s booth #4322 in the West Hall. Additionally, attendees can experience the PC version in NVIDIA’s booth #5230 in the West Hall.
Don’t forget, Destiny 2 is now out on September 6 for all applicable platforms.
