E3 2017 – Skyrim VR Will Have Full Locomotion on DualShock 4, Devs Working on Move Support

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was one of the games Bethesda announced during its press conference to receive the VR treatment, alongside Doom and Fallout 4, and UploadVR spoke to one of the representatives at Bethesda’s booth at E3 to talk about the ways players will be able to move in Skyrim VR.

According to the representative, while the demo at E3 featured only teleportation as a means of motion for players in Skyrim VR, the game will eventually feature full locomotion via the DualShock 4. Additionally, the developers are also working on bringing full locomotion to the PS Move as well.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR is scheduled for release for the PSVR on the PS4 sometime in the holiday of 2017 so there’s still a bit of time for the developers to figure out full locomotion for the game with the PS Move as well as polishing movement with the DualShock 4.
