Telltale Games has released the first trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode – Season Two. The trailer shows off the series’ first episode, Hero in Residence, and reintroduces the series’ main character Jesse as well as some of the characters Season Two will feature.
Minecraft: Story Mode – Season Two will be a new five-part adventure that will be separate from Season One. Although players’ choices from the first season can be carried over into season two, the new game can also be started without playing the first.
Season Two will also include the studio’s Crowd Play multiplayer feature that will allow friends and family members to help players decide the direction of the story from a mobile device.

Now that Jesse and the gang have vanquished the Wither Storm, saved the world, and become totally super famous heroes, life has gotten a bit more…complicated. With more responsibilities and less time for adventure, old friendships have started to fade — at least until Jesse’s hand gets stuck in a creepy gauntlet that belongs to an ancient underwater temple. Together with old pals and new comrades alike, Jesse embarks on a brand new journey filled with tough choices, good times, and at least one temperamental llama.
The first episode of Minecraft: Story Mode – Season Two is scheduled for release on July 11, 2017, for the PlayStation 4 and other platforms.
