You’ll Be Able to Play the Next Taiko Drum Master PS4 Game in English

Good news for fans of Taiko Drum Master today, as Bandai Namco announced that Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session! will be getting an Asian release. That means it’ll feature an English localization, and subtitles for all of the songs. So, even if the game doesn’t get released in North America, fans can still import the Asian version of the game if they really want to play it.

Here’s the official description from Bandai Namco’s YouTube channel:

Over 70 tunes ranging from latest hits, classics, variety and OST songs, users can play remotely with friends and family in “Friend Session Play” mode, or challenge popular characters and celebrities to a game in “Guest Session Play” mode!

Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session! will release later this year in Southeast Asia, and will feature over 70 songs. Many guest characters from other franchises will be in the rhythm game including Pac-Man, Hello Kitty, Hatsune Miku, Heihachi Mishima, and Doraemon. Finally, the game will be sold in two different SKUs: one with a controller, and another that just includes the PS4 title.

Japanese fans will be able to enjoy Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session! when it releases October 26. The Asian release is currently set for later this year, although a specific date has not yet been given. Bandai Namco has also not yet announced any plans to bring the game over to North America.
