Chinese developer Darkstar Games has announced a Souls-inspired title, Sinner, for the PlayStation 4. No official information, screenshots, and gameplay have been released on the web yet but the footage shown off during Sony’s ChinaJoy 2017 press conference has turned up online. You can check it out above.
According to Korean website Inven (translation via Gematsu), Sinner is a “high-quality title with very high difficulty.” We’re told that when players die, they’re greeted with red text that informs them that they’ve been defeated. There’s also another line of text underneath that says something along the lines of, “You are not ready yet.” Inven claims that their team died several times while playing the game at Sony’s booth and that no one was able to defeat the boss.
Sinner is currently scheduled for release in China only.
