Call of Duty WWII campaign

New Call of Duty: WWII Trailer Details the Story

A brand new story trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty: WWII has been released, showing off some of the more cinematic aspects of the upcoming World War II-themed shooter.

In the trailer – which you can find below – we see various snippets of typical World War II action: players running through trenches, dodging gunfire, and figuring out how to stop the Nazis from advancing. What does look interesting, however, is the fact that midway through the trailer, it seems like one of the characters is sent off to a concentration camp. Whether or not you actually play as someone trapped inside one of the camps remains to be seen, but it certainly would be an interesting take on the genre.

Here’s more on the story, courtesy of Sledgehammer Games:

Call of Duty®: WWII tells the story of Private Ronald “Red” Daniels, a young recruit in the U.S. First Infantry Division who experiences combat for the first time on D-Day, one of the largest amphibious assaults in history. After surviving the beaches of Normandy, Red and his squad will fight their way across Europe, engaging the enemy in iconic battle locations such as the Hürtgen Forest and the Battle of the Bulge, as they make their way into Germany. The journey begins on November 3.

Call of Duty: WWII releases on November 3 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
