PSN Down Across the UK Right Now, Services Affected

Update: Here’s an official comment from PlayStation UK:

We’re aware that some Virgin Media users are having issues accessing PlayStation Network and we are investigating, thanks for your patience.

As of 9:30am ET, many PlayStation 4 users in the United Kingdom are reporting that they are unable to access the PlayStation Network. Here are several examples:

We checked the official PSN Status Page, but Sony is saying everything is operational at the moment. This has led many to blame Virgin Media for the outage.

PlayStation Store

You may have some difficulty accessing features and products on the PlayStation Store. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.

PlayStation Now

You may have some difficulty streaming PlayStation Now games. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.

PlayStation Vue

You may have some difficulty accessing some channels and features in PlayStation Vue. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.
