New Rhythm Game Invector Announced at PGW 2017

During the pre-show for Sony’s Paris Games Week conference, the studio known as Hello There debuted a brand new rhythm game titled Invector.

The game seems to be in the same vein as games like Rock Band Blitz, where players must use a controller to navigate a soundboard while a song players. As players fly across the board, buttons will appear in rhythm with the song and players must hit the button in time with the beat.

It’s a fairly simple concept, but the game promises to have a co-op mode of some sorts and also seems to feature musician Avicii heavily throughout the trailer. No other information has been released on the game, but there will no doubt be more info coming regarding a soundtrack and a more solid release window.

Fly solo or party with friends in a split screen race, as you join spacepilot Stella on her journey from one stunning world to the next. Each hit song you play offers on the note level design and three difficulties to master.

In an exclusive collaboration, Invector features superstar Avicii, one of the world’s biggest EDM artists, experienced like never before.

Invector currently has no release date, but will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
