While Sony is fully into the PlayStation 4 hardware generation, it doesn’t mean that the PlayStation 3 isn’t getting any love. The Japanese hardware maker just released PS3 system update 4.82 for their last-gen home console. The newly released update is said to improve “the quality of the system performance.” That’s the same thing the last three patches have said to improve, so it’s not exactly the most detailed notes from PlayStation.
Regardless, here are the full PS3 system update 4.82 notes from Sony’s official website. Just don’t be shocked if you find them underwhelming, as they aren’t going into any technical details, or adding any exciting new features (which is to be expected at such a late stage in a console’s lifespan):
