Control E3 2018 Gameplay Trailer shows new details

E3 2018: Remedy’s ‘Control’ is About the Supernatural And Object Manipulation

Today, we’ve received more info and footage that reveals a great deal about the brand new game Control. The game is being developed by Remedy Entertainment (the creators of Alan Wake and Max Payne). The latest Control E3 2018 gameplay trailer shows off some interesting gameplay mechanics.

Players will get a chance to play as Jesse Faden. Following a series of mysterious events she enters a strange building referred to as the Oldest House, which is actually the HQ of a government agency called the Federal Bureau of Control. The plot thickens as an alien force known as the Hiss invades upon Jesse’s arrival at the Bureau.

Wow, I wasn’t expecting aliens, I must admit. Nice twist.

In all that chaos the leader of the FBC is killed and Jesse is now the new Director. Jesse gets to use the Service Weapon, which is a transformable gun that was shown in the E3 2018 trailer.

Meanwhile, looking at the latest gameplay demo (which you can see above), it’s obvious that Remedy Entertainment is putting a huge emphasis on object manipulation as key element of Control’s mechanics. In addition, Jesse has supernatural abilities that help here during combat (again, as shown in the video above).

The game is being developed by Remedy Entertainment and will be published by 505 Games. Expect Control to arrive some time in 2019 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
