Two Earth Defense Force games are leaving Japan soon. Earth Defense Force 5 will appear sometime in 2018, and Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain will be coming in 2019. (This is in line with Iron Rain’s Japanese delay.) Both titles represent the latest additions to the Earth Defense Force series. But while the exact release dates are unknown, we do know they will be at the 2018 Tokyo Game Show.
Both Earth Defense Force 5 and Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain will be shown and be playable at the TGS 2018 . That’s not all. EDF Series Producer Nobuyuki Okajima is going to attend the show as well. This could mean a reveal of new features and insight into how the development team will execute the next two games. You can find them in Hall 7 at Booth C02 in the Makuhari Messe between September 20 and 23, 2018. Also, the official TGS 2018 D3 website is now open.
