Following a successful appearance on the PlayStation 4, the long-running Everybody’s Golf franchise is getting another new game in 2019. This time, the experience looks to be more immersive than ever, as the series makes its PlayStation VR debut with Everybody’s Golf VR.
Everybody’s Golf VR was announced as part of the PlayStation LineUp Tour livestream. This will be the first time an Everybody’s Golf game will be playable from a first-person perspective. Clap Hanz and SIE Japan Studio are working to make it happen.
Everybody’s Golf VR will feature a brand-new control scheme. Both the Dualshock 4 and the PlayStation Move controllers can be used to swing your club. The motion controls will give you a greater control of your swing, allowing you to be even more precise. Golf is one of the sports that translates well to motion controls, so it might prove interesting!
Everybody’s Golf, previously known as Hot Shots Golf in North America, made its debut on the PS4 in 2017. In our review, we mentioned it had “a low barrier to entry and a high skill ceiling,” making it an accessible title for all golfers. Everybody’s Golf is still consistently putting out new content, most recently crossing over with Level-5 and Koei Tecmo games. Everybody’s Golf VR will be released in 2019.
