Those in the UK get to march to the beat of their own drum with the Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session! demo, available now. Fans can tap their way through three songs on the PlayStation 4 leading up to the game’s release on November 2, 2018.

It’d be a fun touch if the demo allowed players to try out the new online system that collects player data all over the world to create “ghost data” for players to compete against. But most likely the focus will be on individual gameplay. The songs “Carmen Prelude,” “Eat ’em Up!” from R4: Ridge Racer Type 4, and “Tsunagare! Hirogare! Uchiagare!” are all playable.
Hopefully, the demo appears in the North American PlayStation Store as well. For now, you can expect the actual game to only be available digitally and, unfortunately for Sony fans, there’s no word on a drum set controller.
Keep in mind that Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session! is separate from the Nintendo Switch release, Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun! Each game has their own tracklist and special features.
