Following Best Buy’s in-store PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X event, GameStop has announced an in-store “PS5 bundle event” scheduled for September 30th in select stores across Atlanta, Dallas-Ft. Worth, and New York City.
No further details have been announced. However, if we’ve learned anything from the recent Best Buy event, expect long lines wrapping around several blocks, with people camping outside starting midnight.

On a positive note, it seems that retailers are starting to receive new stock ahead of the holiday season, and are beginning to host in-store events. Up until now, the ongoing pandemic stalled retailers’ efforts to sell new consoles within their premises, leaving players frustrated as they battled bots and scalpers to online sales.
For now, you’ve got to choose between lining up with hundreds of people and trying your luck online.
