Report: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Getting ‘Massive, God of War-Style’ Expansion Lasting Around 40 Hours

Known insider and reliable leaker Tom Henderson has tweeted that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is due to receive two pieces of downloadable content: one as early as this month and another, hefty, expansion around March 2022.

Henderson believes that the DLC due out in December is likely to be shown off at The Game Awards 2021, which will take place on Thursday, December 9th.

As for the expansion, Henderson has heard from his sources that it’ll be a “massive, God of War-style” expansion that’ll add around 40 hours of gameplay. However, he isn’t quite sure what “God of War-style” means.

We ask our readers to take this with a grain of salt, but given Henderson’s excellent track record, we wouldn’t dismiss anything altogether. You can read his tweet below.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has received a ton of content since launch and continues to thrive. Ubisoft has previously said that its commercial performance surpassed expectations.

We’ll update our readers when we have more information.
