Alan Wake 2, Quantic Dream Star Wars, Wonder Woman Game – Here’s Everything Announced at The Game Awards

Just like that, The Game Awards 2021 came and went, and brought with it a slew of announcements and reveals. As promised, for those who missed the livestream we hosted yesterday or those who simply want all the PlayStation-relevant highlights in one place, we’ve collated them.

From Alan Wake II to Monolith’s Wonder Woman game, here are all the relevant announcements for our readers.

Alan Wake 2

Remedy Entertainment’s worst-kept secret was finally unveiled for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It’ll launch in 2023. The trailer is age-gated, so you can only view it on YouTube. We’ll have more on Alan Wake 2 later today, so stay tuned.

Star Wars: Eclipse

Another announcement that became victim of several leaks earlier this year. Quantic Dream is indeed making a Star Wars action-adventure game, which is set in the High Republic. No word on platforms and release window, but we did get the reveal trailer below.

Wonder Woman

Brought to you by the folks behind Middle-earth games at Monolith Productions, Wonder Woman is a single-player, open-world, action game with an original story set in the DC Universe. Release date and platforms weren’t announced. Check out a teaser.

Arc Raiders

Arc Raiders is the debut game by Embark Studios, which is comprised of former DICE developers. It’s a free-to-play co-op, PvE, sci-fi shooter headed to the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in 2022.

Forspoken

Delve into magic and parkour on May 24, 2022. We’ll have more details about Forspoken‘s villains and DLC for you later, so stay tuned. In the meantime, watch a new trailer below.

Sonic Frontiers & Movie Sequel

Third game of the night that was leaked early. Sonic Frontiers is an “open-zone” adventure that’ll release sometime during Holiday 2022 as a cross-gen title. In addition to this, SEGA offered us a look at Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Watch both reveals below.



Star Trek: Resurgence

Former Telltale Games developers at Dramatic Labs announced this third-person, choice-driven narrative adventure. It’s a cross-gen game that’s due out in Spring 2022. Watch the reveal below, but don’t forget to scroll down because that’s not the only time we heard about Telltale last night…

The Expanse: A Telltale Series

Still here? Good. Told you we have more from Telltale, except this one is from current Telltale Games’ developers. The Expanse is a prequel to the television series, and is being made in collaboration with Life Is Strange studio, Deck Nine. Platforms and release window were not announced, and the trailer is age-gated so you know what to do.

Silent H… Slitterhead. I mean Slitterhead.

Bokeh Game Studio’s Slitterhead is an action adventure game by Silent Hill, Siren, and Gravity Rush creator Keiichiro Toyama. No further information is available at the moment.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax

Headed to the PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC worldwide on March 17, 2022 for $29.99.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Based on the 1974 film, Texas Chainsaw Massacre is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game in development at Sumo Nottingham. Release information and platforms were not announced. The trailer below survived YouTube’s age gate, so check it out.

Rumbleverse

Iron Galaxy is developing this free-to-play brawler royale. Another cross-gen title. Sign up for early access, which will kick off in February 2022.

Among Us

Be sus on PlayStation VR, Meta Quest 2, and Steam VR. We just don’t know when. That’s sus.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2

This is a third-person action game being developed by Saber Interactive for current-gen platforms. No word on a release window but we were promised an experience unlike ever before.

Babylon’s Fall

We finally have a release date: March 3, 2022.
