Hear us out before you start yelling. Normally, we dismiss most Grand Theft Auto and Bully rumors (or any Rockstar Games-related rumor, for that matter), but this one came from – you guessed it – the reliable Tom Henderson. I mean, he hasn’t disappointed us thus far and his reports have been spot on, so just please read this one too, okay?
Still here? Good.
Apparently, Bully 2 was “expected” to be a surprise reveal at last week’s The Game Awards, but something happened and it didn’t turn up. However, Henderson’s sources have been “shown some material” that suggests that a reveal of sorts may be coming soon. We’re further told that Rockstar Games showed off a “playable” version of Bully 2 to some folks prior to TGA 2021, and he’s not referring to the canned version here.
“Information is a bit blurry at the moment, but I thought it was worth reporting on as there’s something definitely ‘going on’ to do with the series,” Henderson added.
But that’s not all. Apparently, Game Informer’s Senior Associate Editor Blake Hester tweeted a Bullworth Academy logo and said that “there’s a new story coming soon, like in a week or two.” As soon as his tweet made rounds, Hester made his profile private. One of his colleagues later claimed that Hester’s tweet was not in reference to the rumored Bully sequel.
Hmmm. Make of that what you will.
